This auction goes to benefit the Gibson Foundation: Making the world a better place for children by creating, developing and supporting programs and other 501(c)(3) organizations worldwide that advance Music & the Arts, Education, Health & Welfare and Environmental causes. Gibson Foundation is the administering body for Music Rising Phase II, founded by Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, producer Bob Ezrin and U2's The Edge, to help rebuild Gulf Coast music programs in schools and churches that were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

Vacaville, California's finest progenitors of alt-heaviness and revitalized hard rock, Papa Roach, stepped into the iTunes studio recently. The group's blunt, melodic style was put on display as they recorded full-band versions of "Reckless" (from The Paramour Sessions) and "Scars" (from Getting Away With Murder). Most tellingly, the acoustic version of Paramour's "Forever" shows that there's a little bit of hope underneath the group's damaged world view.
