I know this is a little off topic, but I'm trying to write a paper for my school newspaper.
I just wanted to know some opinions from everyone and some of your thoughts on the subject.
I'm writing about teen relationships, and how some teens mistake the meaning of "relationship" as "having sex." And how some teens have sex withoout really knowing the other person.

Looking back, when I was 12 just going on 13 I met my first love and things went one way or another and we thought we really loved each other and by the time we were 14 and still together we were acting like a couple of adults even though we were essentially kids. back then we thought that stuff meant we loved each other and that was what our relationship was formed on. I really, really believed that being immature and naive at the time. sure enough things ended badly and I realized that sex isn't love, especially at that age. I mean i guess we both felt we did it for the right reasons to strengthen the relationship... but looking back I realize how young and stupid we were. like taylor swift said 'when you're 15 and someone tells you they love you, you're gonna believe them' and so on and so forth. Now years later i've been with other guys and it's like, knowing now that sex isn't love etc I wouldn't sleep with any of them, not only cos I've got morals but if they loved me for me they'd respect that and luckily they did before I got my heart broken and a relationship is definitely more than just the sex. i guess if two people really love each other it's not needed, right? I dunno... I guess it's different for girls as to guys. (NOT ALL may I stress) guys see it as just sex and I know I saw it as love... i dunno... hope that helped x
